Optic Liquid Level Switch

The ELS-1150XP, Electro-Optic Liquid Level Switch is designed to be used in hazardous locations in a wide range of applications.  The ELS-1150XP Switch is rated for Class 1, Div. 1 Groups A, B, C and D locations.

Two models are being offered by TECP: The "WET" model and the "DRY" model depending on the application. 

The "WET" model is designed to be used in a normally wet environment and will signal when the environment becomes dry.

The "DRY" model is designed to be used in a normally dry environment and will signal when the environment becomes wet.

The switch itself does not "alarm" but will provide a signal on the output which will be used in conjunction with other equipment (such as I/O radios, PLC's and other controllers) to signal an alarm condition.  No special field wiring or cabling is required, thereby reducing installation costs.
